KPQG Saturday Open-sew Workshop, August 24, 2019 |Theme: Charity Sewing |Members & non-members welcome

NOTE:  The open-sew is August 24, the Saturday before the August KPQG Membership Meeting, rather than the usual Saturday following the membership meeting.

CHANGE IN LOCATION:  Kokomo Howard County Public Library South Branch at 1755 East Center Road, Kokomo 46902. Since we are meeting at the library where there is no room rental cost, there is no $5.00 fee/person for participation in the open-sew.

The focus is charity sewing. The plan is as follows:

  • 10:00 – 12:00 in the Tulip room to sort and cut donated fabric into block kits
  • 12:00 – 3:00 in the big room to sew small, cuddle/lap charity quilts or any other quilting/sewing project you want to do

You may bring your own sewing machine or use a Bernette sewing machine that is available at the library.

If you have any questions, please call Evie Fell at 765.860.9249.

Looking ahead:  The September 2019 KPQG Saturday Workshop will be September 28 at Indiana Wesleyan University from 10:00 – 3:00. The featured learning experience will be presented by long-time member Jan Adler.
