KPQG 2021 Community Outreach & Service Projects Completed | KPQG Membership Meeting & Christmas Potluck: Tuesday, December 7, 2021

During the year, the KPQG members donate their time, skills, and resources to  create children’s quilts and donate the quilts to the guild’s designated community outreach and service project recipients. The benefactors are Kokomo’s Healthy Families organization and the Kokomo Police Department. At the guild’s November membership meeting, 109 quilts were presented to the Healthy Families representative and 82 quilts were presented to the police department representative.

Another service project is making quilts and other items needed, such as throws, pillow cases, and table toppers, for the Jackson Street Commons Veterans Home. During this year, 12 items were delivered to the veterans home.

KPQG Membership Meeting & Christmas Potluck: Tuesday, December 7, 2021

Location:  Kokomo First Church of the Nazarene, 2734 South Washington Street (corner of Washington and Lincoln), Kokomo. Enter at the doors marked “Main Entrance, Door A” on the south side of the church. Signs will direct you to the room we will be using. There is plenty of parking.

Date & Time:  Tuesday, December 7, at 6:00  (Doors open at 5:30.)

Activity:  Christmas Dinner Potluck & Quilto (game is optional)

      • For the potluck, please bring a dish to share and bring your own drink.
      • If you want to play the Quilto game, please bring two fat quarters.
