Program: “Trip Around the World in Folk Art Stitches” presented by Catherine Redford: A humorous, educational and interactive lecture including a game with prizes! I’ll take you on a trip around the globe with the quilts from my exhibit that debuted in April 2017 at International Quilt Festival in Chicago and was at Houston in October that year. KPQG Saturday Open-Sew for Members & Nonmembers for July
Location: Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU), 1916 East Markland Avenue, Kokomo, IN 46901
Date & Time: Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 10:00 am – 3:00 pm | You may bring your own lunch or leave for lunch.
Cost: $5.00 (for use of room)
Open-sew: Bring your sewing machine and supplies to enjoy a day of quilting, sewing, fun and fellowship. Iron, ironing board, and cutting table provided for your convenience.
Sleep-In-Your-Own-Bed Quilt Retreat – August 2021
Kokomo Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) invites all quilters, KPQG members and nonmembers, to a two-day quilting retreat and you will be able to stay the night in your own bed. The retreat is a fund raiser for the IWU Adult Scholarship Fund and is sponsored by the IWU Kokomo Education Center.

Cost: $40.00 per guest | Limited seating of 30 guests. | Pay at time of arrival.

- lunch on your own: you may bring your lunch and keep it in the refrigerator or leave for lunch
- cutting mats, irons, and ironing boards available
- may pin quilt tops on tables in another room
- not required to wear a face mask, but you are welcome to do so if you are more comfortable
PROJECT(S): You choose your project(s) such as UFOs, use the tables to assemble a quilt top with batting and backing, work on a donation quilt, or how about working on a quilt or a challenge quilt to display at the KPQG quilt show?
