One way to say “Thank you for your service” to our veterans is to offer free, simple sewing repairs service for them.
Veterans can bring their clothing to the Kokomo Howard County Public Library (KHCPL) Main, 220 North Union Street, Downtown Kokomo, on the library’s lower level for simple sewing repairs. Clothes MUST be clean.
Sewing machines and basic sewing tools/supplies will be provided. Volunteers will be available to do the repairs or, if desired, the veterans can do their own repair work using the tools and materials provided.
Dates & Times: Tuesday, November 13 | 2:00 – 5:00; Wednesday, November 14 | 10:00 – Noon; Friday, November 16 | 10:00 – Noon
